Purple/Ice may sound new but it was a staple color back in the day. This color became rare when the Yamashita skirt factory moved to a new country especially in the 6" size.

Years ago while working on one of the top charter boats on Oahu my friend stopped by to get a back up lure. He brought the original which was scratched, rubbed and beaten so badly you could hardly see through to the insert. His skirts were tied in the ugliest way as he tied legs from other skirts as best he could get make a 6" purple/ice .
I made him a new head but at the time we couldn't get the skirts.

This combo works by giving you double the chances of presenting a color the fish is interested in. On one side you get a purple/silver combo and on the other a ice blue. 

If they are feeding on a darker color this lure has you covered, if they're feeding on a bright color this lure has you covered too.
Most Charter boats are interested in getting as many bites for their customers as possible and I'm sure this one will do the same for you!
